4. Macadamia Nuts –Macadamia Nuts can cause muscle, gastrointestinal, and nervous symptom problems. Symptoms include abdominal pain, vomiting, pale gums, stiffness, difficulty walking, weakness, and tremors.
5. Xylitol–Used as a sweetener and very deadly to dogs. Also check products such as peanut butters. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and death.
6. Yeast Dough–Dough is left out in a warm spot to expand. Dogs love to eat, if ingest before it rises, it will expand inside the tummy, this can cause be dangerous to dogs.
7. Cooked fats and fried foods–Sometimes we give our dogs a little treat off our plate, give them the meat and veggies but toss the grizzle. Cooked fats can cause pancreatitis in susceptible dogs, this can cause terrible abdominal pain.
8. Cooked Bones – Cooked bones can splinter and damage your dog’s digestive tract or cause choking hazards. However, people are surprised to learn that uncooked non weight baring bones like chicken wings, are both eatable and nutritional for dogs.
9. Candy – Candy contains high levels of sugar as well as other harmful ingredients such as chocolate and xylitol (a sugar alcohol that is toxic to dogs).
10.Caffeine – Caffeine can be very harmful to dogs and may cause restlessness, panting, cardiovascular problems, seizure, and death. It’s best to keep caffeinated beverages away from your dog altogether.”
